I made it back to the weight I was before the “ankle mishap” and it took all week without being able to do the exercises that I usually do. Really…. this is a good lesson about keeping weight off and losing it; you have to exercise and watch what you eat!! I am happy that I made it here and now I am going to strive to get to my first small goal which was to lose 20 pounds… from this weight!! Yesterday was a bad day for me for my ankles, we went to the range for some trap shooting for class and I was the trapper for them (pulling the targets) and I was trying to walk around. The worst part was having regular shoes on. I could feel my feet swelling and the pain was awful. Kurt got me a chair to sit on while we were there and that helped (thanks honey!). But by the time we got back my left ankle had swelled considerably. So, I am down again today. I will do some working out; at least at home I can get off of it quick and start therapy if I start hurting! The dieting is going well, I am doing ok with the food choices and feeling satisfied if not full from the meals, so that is good. Tomorrow is the start of week three….. let’s see how it goes!!
